REDMOND GRAPPLING ACADEMY
Off-Season Youth Wrestling
Our Off-Season Youth Wrestling program runs from February through September and is designed for children ages 6 and older.
This program gives young athletes an opportunity to continue developing their wrestling skills outside of the traditional school and club season. Training focuses on strong fundamentals, takedowns, positioning, control, scrambling, conditioning, and overall mat awareness.
The off-season is an important time for wrestlers to correct weaknesses, build confidence, improve technique, and prepare for the next competitive season. Practices are structured to challenge experienced wrestlers while still allowing newer athletes to learn at an appropriate pace.
Competition is encouraged but not required. Our goal is to help every athlete become more technically sound, disciplined, confident, and comfortable in live wrestling situations.
